Allen joined Clearstead in 2022. As Head of Portfolio Management, Allen leads the firms process for portfolio implementation, trading, compliance, operations, and overall team development. He also serves as an advisor and portfolio manager to affluent individuals and multi-generational families on a variety of wealth management challenges, including investment management, trust and estate planning, family education, and family office management.

Prior to joining Clearstead, Allen spent four years as a portfolio manager with Cerity Partners in Cleveland. Prior to that, Allen was a Relationship Manager with PNC Bank’s Private Client Group. Allen is a graduate of Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, with a BS in Business Economics.

Allen is very active in the Cleveland community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cleveland Public Library Foundation and is the founder and advisor to the Miami University Alumni Association Cleveland Board of Directors. Other leadership capacities in the Cleveland area have included President of the Miami University Alumni Association Cleveland Chapter, the steering committee and co-chair of the events committee for the Young Association of Corporate Growth, Cleveland, VP of Membership for Cleveland Toastmasters and Emerging Leaders board for The Union Club.
