Senior Analyst, Research
Daniel joined Clearstead’s Research team in 2018. He is responsible for evaluating and monitoring international and emerging market equity strategies as well as supporting the consultants with related inquiries. Daniel assists with conducting manager reviews, analyzing fund statistics, and forming investment recommendations, which are integral parts of the due diligence process. Dan serves as the Secretary of the Investment Research Committee and is a non-voting participant of the Asset Allocation Committee.
Dan brings valuable experience in market research and economic analysis to the firm, having served most recently as a Senior Director with Freedonia Custom Research— a division of MarketResearch.com—partnering with the firm’s largest global clients. Previously, he had also worked more than a decade as an economist, primarily with the U.S. State Department specializing in economic development, international assistance, labor markets, and trade policy. Dan holds a B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University, a M.A in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a MBA from Loyola University.
