The analysis used an initial list of 40,896 RIA firms, narrowing the list based on CNBC’s proprietary criteria to a select group of firms that exhibit excellence in client service, growth, and regulatory compliance. Following this, detailed surveys and applications from these firms are rigorously analyzed to identify the top 100 financial advisory firms across the nation.
