Jim joined Clearstead in 2004 as a Client Planning Associate. Jim obtained the CFP® designation in 2008 and currently oversees several family and individual private client relationships, leveraging his technical expertise to integrate financial planning, tax planning and compliance, and estate counsel with investments for his clients.

Jim graduated from the College of Wooster in 1998 with a BA degree in Business Economics.  Prior to joining Clearstead, Jim spent four years in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice and 18 months at KPMG providing internal audit outsourcing – advising firms on critical business risks, implementation of effective internal controls and compliance processes, identifying best practices, reducing the cost of operations, and realizing profit improvement opportunities.
