Jon has more than 20 years of experience serving clients to achieve their financial goals.  Jon joined Clearstead in 2019, and he oversees Clearstead’s Entity Tax and Family Office Services practice.  As a Senior Managing Director of Tax, he works closely with our private client business owners and investors, with a focus on entity tax planning and compliance.  Jon has advised clients on tax matters across a variety of industries including real estate, commercial and industrial services, wholesale and distribution, and professional services.

Prior to joining Clearstead, Jon worked at a regional public accounting firm in Northeast Ohio and a national public accounting firm in the Washington DC area.  Jon began his career at a Big 4 accounting and consulting firm where he spent eight years serving clients in the airline industry and the public sector.

Jon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He serves on the board of directors and is the board treasurer for the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, a Cleveland-based arts education non-profit organization.  In addition, Jon serves on the City of Lakewood Audit Committee and Loan Approval Board.  He is a graduate of Ohio University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.
