Matt is a member of Clearstead’s Institutional Consulting Group. As a managing director, he provides investment advisory services to the fiduciaries and investment committees for institutional clients. His primary focus is in the areas of fiduciary governance, plan design, investment due diligence, provider oversight, and participant success metrics.  Matt’s clients include endowments, foundations, and corporate retirement plans.

Prior to joining Clearstead, Matt spent the last 20+ years as a dedicated fiduciary advisor to both for profit and not for profit organizations, helping build and manage their retirement plans for the benefit of their employees. He holds a BSBA with a specialization in Finance from Bowling Green State University. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), as well as a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA).
