Ron joined Clearstead in 2023 as a Senior Managing Director in the Private Client Group.  He has more than 27 years of experience addressing the investment and wealth management needs of clients, including formation of investment policy, asset allocation decisions, and portfolio construction for high-net-worth families spanning multiple generations.  

Prior to joining Clearstead, Ron spent almost 13 years as the team leader of the Ohio investment team of BNY Mellon Wealth Management.  In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, he served on both the Investment Strategy and Solution Strategy committees.  He started his career at KeyCorp, where he held various roles in trust operations, municipal bond research, and as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Regional Manager in Key Private Bank.  He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.  Ron earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Akron, and his MBA in banking and finance from Weatherhead School of Business at Case Western Reserve University.  He is a member of Bluecoats, Inc. and volunteers on the investment committee.
